This stunning 1920s Art Deco ring is built around a square scissor-cut aquamarine in the centre weighing approx. 1.3ct. This Art Deco ring has a flickering, aquamarine with clear blue sparkle and is complemented by a frame of twinkling diamonds, totalling approx. 0.36ct.
Aquamarine is the birthstone of March. It derives its name from its tranquil, clear blue/ green colouring that emulates the beauty of a tropical ocean or icy glacial waters. It was once believed to be the treasure of Mermaids and is said to bring happiness, good fortune and eternal youth.
This Art Deco piece is all 18ct with a yellow gold band and scalloped, white gold face edged with milgrain, creating a fabulous bed for the stones to rest on. This Art Deco ring is very striking and would make a glamorous engagement ring.
