A gorgeous antique Edwardian carved half hoop ring adorned with a trilogy of bright blue sapphires across the face, ranging from 0.20 – 0.25ct in the centre with four twinkling old mine cut diamonds nestled in between.
Sapphire is the birthstone of September. The blue variety is considered a stone of truth, wisdom and protection and has long been a favourite of kings and royalty, adored for its royal blue colouring which was considered a reflection of the sky and the heavens, making it divine.
The piece is hallmarked and dated Chester, 1907 and modelled entirely in 18ct gold with beautiful, scrolling artistry engraved down the sides and shoulders creating a fabulous bed for the stones to rest on.
We recommend you insure for £1,700. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
